Immunizations & Vaccines

Immunizations

NWACF will help you and your child stay current on immunizations. We offer many on site and have access to your child's immunization schedule through the Immunization Network for Children.

Please call ahead to see if the immunization you need is available. If the immunization needed is unavailable we recommend calling the Washington County Health Department at 479.521.8181 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm to schedule it.

Flu Vaccines

Flu season usually runs from November to March peaking in January or February. Flu vaccines are offered yearly at NWACF beginning every October. Since it takes about two weeks for your body to build protection after your vaccine we encourage you to get it early.

The flu can be a serious illness causing weakness, fatigue, fever, and respiratory symptoms for 7-14 days, and in some cases death. Flu vaccines are the best way to protect you and your family from getting the flu, and are available for children 6 months and older. NWACF offers flu vaccine injections and the nasal spray flu vaccine.
